What a wonderful crop!! As usual, I didn't get nearly as much accomplished as I had hoped, but I did get something done this time!!

Several to share today, so let's get started!

An old time favorite, a lift challenge to get the mojo going! I combined two lovely layout's I found in the Life Preservers gallery to create this one , one by Laura Lee and the other by Wanita! Thanks for the inspiration, ladies!!

Back by popular demand! :) I hosted another one hour sketch challenge. As you know, I love to make my own embellishments but since I am a super slow scrapper I had to set that aside if I was going to pull this off in 1 hour! Sketch courtesy of Sassy 'Lil Sketches.




I started Friday evening off with working on the earlybird sketch challenge.



I also completed a couple of the Make 'n Takes as well play along in some awesome games!






I did finish up another layout, but you will have to wait to peek at that one! :)

June already?!

Today I have an All-in-one for you. I used a previous kit from Life Preservers to create my example for Scrapfit, using the new sketch from Sketch Inspirations…whew!

ScrapFit challenge #21 - Use a machine….cuttlebug, cricut, slice, punches, etc…

I used a couple different border punches, a sizzix die, and did lots of stitching!

Non kit items: fabric; distress ink; border punches; pin; letter stickers; pearls

I love this photo of my grandmother with one of her quilts across her lap. She has 7 children, and 21 children. Each of us has at least one quilt made by her. She has many more that she created....amazing! Wish I had her talent, and patience!!

There goes another one!

I am so sad to see these papers disappear from my stash. They have definately made the top 5 of my all-time favorite list! I literally pieced some scraps together to create a couple cards. Now all that is left is a few stickers and a couple Wild Cards! …oooo, and some empty space for more scrap goodies! LOL! :)

Time for ScrapFit challenge #20!

Cardstock only! Use all the embellishments you desire, just NO pattern paper!

I used plain brown cardstock, Jenni Bowlin Core’dinations cardstock, and Swiss Dot. My butterflies were cut from newspaper. My flowers were all created from ribbon. Instead of paper, I added a sliver of lace behind the tear in my paper. The inspiration for my design came from a sketch at Scrap A Little.



Have you used the Jenni or Cosmos Cricket Core’dinations? *swoon* I just love them!! Then again, Core’dinations cardstock in one of my all time favorite papers to play with! Combine them with Jenni or Cosmos and what’s not to love! I bought mine at the Life Preservers store!

I, personally, really struggle to add yellow to my layouts. Why? I have no idea!! SO, I have been challenging myself to use it more. I have to say, I actually like where yellow took me this time!
