Guest Designer at Scraptown Lady

Hello!  Today I am guest designing at Scraptown Lady!  Cheryl sent me the beautiful Bundle of Joy-Girl line from KaiserCraft, along with some adorable ribbons, buttons, pearls, die, ink, and the wood rocking horse!  What a treat to work with!  First, I created a layout of luscious layers for my adorable niece!
A close up of some of the flowers, I just adore the detail in the dies from Cheery Lynn Designs!

The rocking horse is from Kaiser Craft.  I covered it with Pastel Pink ink from Ingvid Bloom.  Once dry, I covered is with a layer of Crystal Stickles.  The tags were created from the Coved Rectangle from Cheery Lynn Designs, I just punched a hole to look like a tag!

Next, I created a baby card featuring the Baby Carriage die from Cheery Lynn Designs!

New die reveal at Cheery Lynn Designs!!!

Hello! Cheery Lynn Designs is releasing several new dies today, some of which are a fabulous new concept! I have just a few to share with you. Be sure to head to Cheery Lynn Designs blog to check out the gorgeous examples of the rest of the team!

Don’t you just love the fun border around the edge?! How about the heart border around the photo?! Those are just two of the many borders on the Expandable Tiny Borders die. Yes, this die comes with about 10 different style borders on one die, AND you can make the borders as long as you wish!! Unlike the 8 inch dies, these can be cut to fit 12 inch papers! Around the photo I've also used the Border Carnivale and Victorian Picket Fence.

Here you can see the new Wreath Strip tucked in amongst the Small Leaves 1 and Small Leaves 2. I cut three layers of Stacker Flower #4 to create the flower, using a die from Snowflowers #2 for the flower center. The new Rose Leaves are tucked in behind the flower. Resting next to the flower is the larger of the new Fall Pumpkins. You can also see a portion of the new Blessings sentiment, which I cut from cork.

To add a bit of dimension, I cut my pumpkins three times, removed the outer edges with a scissors, and layered them with foam adhesive.

Friends is another of the several newly released sentiments. The other words I created from the elegant new Delicate Lace Script font set.

Floral Fun

Hello! I'm here today with another fun card featuring a couple of our beautiful flower dies from Cheery Lynn Designs!
I just love the way our Stacker Nesting dies all fit together so well, especially with such a variety of sizes in each set! It makes is so easy to add lovely layers to cards, layouts, and other projects.
Stackers used: French Flair-Scallop
To create the flower, I cut four layers of Stacker Flower #4 from book pages. Staggering the petals as you adhere them, is very important when creating a fuller, more life like flower. The center of the flower is made from two layers of Cuties #1. After attaching, I fluffed the petals of the flowers. Try stacking different flower dies together to see what kind of flower you can create!
Flower foliage consists of : Mini Flourish One
There is still time to enter this weeks challenge for your chance to win the $20 shopping spree!

Double Yay today!!

Hello!!!
It is an exciting day for me and I am so happy that you stopped in to share it with me! Not only am I creating my first post for Cheery Lynn Designs, but I get to announce that I am the October Guest Designer for Quick Quotes!!!

Cheery Lynn Dies are BEAUTIFUL and cut amazingly well!! I am sooo excited to be working with the company!! Here is my first official reveal for Cheery Lynn Designs!
When a person thinks of the flourish and flowers dies we typically think of spring and summer flowers. I wanted to show that they also look great in fall colors!

I used the newly released Stacker Flower #5 cutting 3 pieces, then used the Scalloped Window Stackers to create the various sizes. I cut the Stacker Flower #1 Leaf in orange/orange core’dinations cardstock and sanded to add to the fall look.
I added some fall leaves from the SM Leaves 2…aren’t the acorns cute too! The leaf and acorn dies emboss as well as cut adding more life to the dies. I cut the acorns from brown/kraft core’dinations cardstock and then sanded…look how well they emboss! The Fanciful Flourish is cut from the brown/kraft core’dinations cardstock as well. Sticking with the fall theme, I cut the Ferns with an orangish/redish pattern paper then added a bit of distress inks for more color. The details on the Small Dragonfly are amazing as well!

Notice the lacy edges?! Yes! That is a die as well! That is the newly released gorgeous Border Carnivale die. The details are incredible!

I am so honored to have been asked to be a guest designer at Quick Quotes!
Today’s reveal features the stunning Cherry Truffle line, with a little splash of blue/green from the Savvy Davvy line, as well as the quote. The doily was cut from the Damsel in Distress line using the English Tea Party doily die from Cheery Lynn Designs.

I used the Fanciful Flourish die, and Exotic Butterfly mini dies from Cheery Lynn Designs to bring life to the flowers.

I hope you have enjoyed todays creations!
