Create a Frame

Hello!  I just love the verstility of the dies from Cheery Lynn Designs!  Today's layout features the reflections and border dies combined to create a delicate frame.
Starting from top to bottom, I created the frame for my photo using Mini Pearl Rectangle Reflections Boutique Mega Die, Enchanted Forest Stacker Frame, another layer of the Mini Pearl Rectangle Reflections, and the beautiful Tiffany Border. The bottom layers were trimmed with the gorgeous Francesca and Queen Anne’s Lace borders.
Here is a close up of the Sweet Williams, flower center created from Build a Flower #1. Floliage from Small Leaves 2 and Flourish Leaf Strip.
I created this flower by cutting three layers of Stacker Flower #3, staggering the petals as I adhered them. Again, using parts from Build a Flower #1 to create the center. To the right of the flower is the Large Rose. Darling Daisies can be seen on the left. The leaves are from Stacker Flower #1 Leaf, Small Leaves 2, and the Princess Tree. Other dies used are the Two of Hearts, Fanciful Flourish, and Exotic Butterfly Mini.

More Flower Fun!

Hello! Have you enjoyed Cheery Lynn Designs new releases this week, as well as all the gorgeous designs by our talented team?  Today I have a card sharing a few more dies that I was given to design with.

The base of my card is created using the Scalloped French Flair Stacker Nesting Die layered with the Classic French Flair Silver Stacker. I added a bit of texture to the card using the Woodgrain Embossing Plate. Using two pieces of Anastasia Border back to back, it looks like I added real lace! The newly released Flourish Band was placed down the center of the lacy strip.

I haven’t worked with velum much the past few years, but after discovering what a beautiful butterfly it made last week, I decided to dabble in the flower word with it. Choosing white vellum, I staggered three layers of Stacker Flower #4 topped with an assortment of pieces from the newly released Build a Flower #1 to created the flower center of the large daisy.

I topped the Two of Hearts with a Medium Rose created with pink velum. I really like the softness the velum flowers add to the project! I added leaves from the new Flourish Leaf Strip and Small Leaves 2.

New Release!!

I am so excited!! Cheery Lynn Designs is releasing a vast assortment of new dies today!!! More gorgeous frames, doilies, alphas, and some new surprises! One of my favorite releases yet!!! Head on over to Cheery Lynn Designs blog and take a peek at the projects created by the rest of the design team members!
The new dies I am sharing today are Princess Tree, Spring Flower Burst Doily, Build a Flower #1, Window A, Fiona’s Magic Window, and Lace Script Lower Case. The details in each of these sets is just amazing!

Now, on to the details! The border in my background is the edging of the Bunny and Chick Border, I just covered up the cute little critters this time. Under the photo you see the stunning new frame, Fiona’s Magic Window. The next layer is cut from the Mini Pearl Rectangle Mega Reflections Dies, outlined with the beautiful Queen Anne’s Lace border. To the right of the photo is the new Window A. To cut my window, I first cut an oval from my pattern paper using the Scallop Oval Stackers Nesting Die. I wanted a scenic background behind the window. Using the Classic Oval Silver Stacker, I was able to cut the scene to fit perfectly behind the window. Check out the store for a few other newly released windows. This my mom’s baby photo, so I tucked the letters of her name (arlene) into the top of my bouquet using the new Lace Script Lower Case set.
Below is a close up of the newly released Princess Tree, Spring Flower Burst Doily,

A closeup of the new Build a Flower #1.
Other dies used: Victorian Picket Fence
This is just a portion of the newly released dies!! Stop by Cheery Lynn Designs to see the rest of the new dies. It will be worth your time, I promise!!!

Purple-licious

Hello! Today’s card was inspired by this week's Cheery Lynn Designs challenge, purple. As many of you, I love the color purple but struggle when it comes to using it in a color palette on a layout or card.
I cut the base of my card from dark purple using the largest of the Scalloped Square Stackers set. Cutting my next layer from the Classic Square Silver Stackers, I opted to add some texture using the Daisy Garden Embossing Plate. I love the elegance and size of the Kiwi Doily, perfect for centering on cards! Resting in the center is a Small Exotic Butterfly #2.
Can you believe the flowers and leaves were all cut with white cardstock? In the center of my bouquet is the Large Rose. I brushed each of the petals with LuminArt paints, then embossed each petal before assembling. Nestled on each side of the rose is the Darling Daisies. Each flower consists of 6 layers, two layers of each size petal. I lightly brushed the petals with Shimmerz Paints, then assembled, staggering each layer of petals as I went. Using Ranger Distress inks, I colored leaves from Small Dimensional Leaves #2 and Stacker Flower #1 Leaf and tucked them in around the flowers, finishing off with a couple of Olive Branches.

Floral Fun

Hello! I'm here today with another fun card featuring a couple of our beautiful flower dies from Cheery Lynn Designs!
I just love the way our Stacker Nesting dies all fit together so well, especially with such a variety of sizes in each set! It makes is so easy to add lovely layers to cards, layouts, and other projects.
Stackers used: French Flair-Scallop
To create the flower, I cut four layers of Stacker Flower #4 from book pages. Staggering the petals as you adhere them, is very important when creating a fuller, more life like flower. The center of the flower is made from two layers of Cuties #1. After attaching, I fluffed the petals of the flowers. Try stacking different flower dies together to see what kind of flower you can create!
Flower foliage consists of : Mini Flourish One
