Happy Tuesday!

Time is running out, but I did get a dozen cards finished to be auctioned off at the benefit this coming weekend. Here are a few of them.

The family loves their bikes, so in honor of the family I decided I needed at least only Harley Davidson themed card! I happened to have some leathery Thickers that fit perfectly into the sentiment block…ideal for a bikers card! The silver diamond plate piece is silver mirror cardstock that I embossed with my Cuttlebug folder, then sanded just a tad.

Next is a baby girl card and pocket I created. I found a tutorial for the pocket and bib. I would love to give credit to the owner, but now I can’t find the link….my apologies.

Lastly is a Thank You created with some October Afternoon and Cosmos Cricket! I am falling in love with my Spellbinders. The embossing is one of those times where the little detail makes a big impact!

Have a super day!!

How exciting!!

I don’t know about you, but I get sooo tired of the mind games, and the self-made drama that some people create. That is what the new Dirty Scraps Challenge is all about.
Dirty Scraps Challenge #15:
Games are for children right?
I don't think so!! From the playground and kindergarten to high school, and beyond...life's little games.
It's so easy to get caught up in emotional games,
material games, and power games as an adult.
This challenge is all about recognizing those games.
Maybe you have relationship that you are always trying to one up
each other? Or you know a friend who is always trying to drag you into their drama.
Whether we like to admit it or not, every day we face some sort of game.
So go scrap it!!

So, without further ado, my first reveal for Dirty Scraps!!

Have an awesome day!

more Bo Bunny goodies

Can you believe today is the first of August?! Really!! I feel as though I completely missed July. Everything after the fireworks is a blur. My son doesn't start school until after Labor Day, but so many kids will be headed back in a couple weeks. That means fall will be knocking on our doors soon...I really can't bring myself to think about it!

It's usually not your first thought to use older photos with such a fun, funky line, but I wanted to show that it is okay to use old photos ( I can hear my kids...antique, ancient, vintage, before the dinosaurs). I love this photo of my sister and myself playing in our "pool." I won't tell you how old it is, just that it's older than some of you! I cropped it a bit closer, but I didn't alter it in any other way and the colors worked great with the color palette of the line.

I added Ranger Glossy Accents to the chipboard "fruit" on the tree to give them a little shine. The tree, cloud, and sun are attached with popdots.

non kit items: Ranger Glossy Accents; floss; flourish bling; lace

How about a cheery Get Well card. I used a sketch found on the Bo Bunny Blog.

Have a super Sunday!
