New Sentiments!

Hello! I here with a 5x7 card  for Cheery Lynn Designs featuring a couple crosses from the new Cross Set and With Sympathy sentiment.
I used the Mini Pearl Rectangle Reflections set to create the base of my card, and layered it with Classic Coved Rectangle Silver Stacker, adding a piece from Lace Corner Deco F to dress up the corners, giving the card a more elegant feel. The Scalloped Oval Stacker, layered with the Classic Oval Silver Stacker is raised on pop dots to give the card a bit of dimension. I added a Large Rose with leaves from Build a Flower #2 and Olive Branches.

There are three beautiful crosses in the Cross Set. I chose two crosses, layering one atop the other!

Beautiful

Hello! Today is the reveal for the August sketch at My Creative Sketches! I am so excited to share with you my very first sketch as a design team member!!
I flipped the sketch side to side.

Can you believe the background is white cardstock?! I started by stamping parts of an image from a Prima stamp. Then, I added bits of color with my Ranger Distress inks. Lastly, I lightly rubbed Ranger Distress Ink -Vintage Photo all around.
Lots of fussy cutting!

Head to My Creative Sketches to see the fabulous layouts my teammates created.
I would love to see you play along and win that fabulous prize!

Moments

Hello! I here with a layout for Cheery Lynn Designs. This week I want to share more ways to use your borders.

The delicacy of the Lace Light Deco Border creates a romantic feel around the edge of the page. I simply lined the borders around the edge until is was complete. I used the Tiffany Border to create the ambiance around the Scalloped Circle Reflections Boutique die. The Tiffany Border has a beautiful scalloped edge. Snipping with my scissors at every two scallops, I cut my border strip in to small pieces and carefully aligned them under the scallop circle.

The bouquet consists of Stacker Flower #3 with the center cut using Build a Flower #1, Mini Rose, and Large Rose. The foliage is Flourish Leaf Strip, Fanciful Flourish, Small Leaves #2, Large Leaves #2.
There is still time to enter this weeks challenge for your chance to win the $20 gift certificate!
Tune in August 5-11 for lots of fun as we are pairing up with the fabulous Design Team from Imaginisce!
